Tweet Up at the Florida Film Fest – Join Me! 04/01/11

We are soooo excited!  Back during the summer, the Top 5 hosted our first tweetup at Eden Bar, and we had a fabulous time! Here’s video from our fun night:

Well, we are excited because now we are getting ready to host our second tweetup, and this time we’re teaming with the awesome The Daily City blog to celebrate the Florida Film Fest!  here are all the details…

The Florida Film Festival TweetUp is Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 4pm – 6:30pm at Enzian (1300 South Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751), hosted by two award-winning Orlando city culture blogs: CentralFloridaTop5.com and TheDailyCity.com.

Enjoy drink specials and a public reception for “Guard Dog Global Jam Art Show.” Afterwards, the extremely popular Animated Shorts presentation takes place (tickets required for Animated Shorts).

Guard Dog Global Jam Art Show

Academy Award-nominated animator and Florida Film Festival veteran and award winner, Bill Plympton, invited artists via social media to remake his Oscar-nominated short Guard Dog. What resulted is an exhilarating animation multimedia mash-up of countless artists interpreting individual shots, climaxing in one mind-blowing four-second segment that boasts the work of 107 artists across the globe, each contributing a single frame. These animated works have been turned into prints and donated to Enzian for the exclusive Guard Dog Global Jam Art Show. Join a savvy and fun crowd for drink specials and mingling as the exhibition is unveiled at Eden Bar. After getting the rare opportunity to view these pieces up-close, hop into the Animated Shorts program to experience the film in real time!

Eden Bar/Enzian Theater

One of our favorite places to hang, especially during the Florida Film Fest. Stop by for a drink or for some yummy food and then stay to watch a movie!
